Carriers -After- Computer science(CSE)

A computer science engineer is always working  on laptop and creating new softwares and games ,flash images and graphical interfaces and web developing ,webmasters

Today, computers are used in almost every aspect of our lives:  car engines, microwave ovens, video games, watches, telephones, desktops at home and work, mainframe computers in government and industry, and supercomputers expanding the frontiers of science and technology. The computer industry is one of the fastest growing segments of our economy and that growth promises to continue well into the next century.

Computer Engineering involves designing and testing of computer components. It is a branch of engineering, which study elements from both electrical engineering and computer science angles, combining the principle and techniques of these two for the making and development of computer and computer-based systems. Professionals who work with computer hardware and software are called as computer engineers.

Computer engineers are a part of a team who apply their knowledge in mathematics and science for the design and development of a computer. Those who deal with the computer equipment are termed as computer hardware engineers and those who deal with the computer programs are called computer software engineers. Computer software or software is a collection of computer programs, procedures and documentation that performs the major tasks on a computer system. Software engineers should have strong programming skills and good logic as they are concerned with the design and development of many types of software, including computer games, word processing and business applications, operating systems and network distribution and compilers, which convert programs into machine language for execution on a computer.

Hardware engineers are involved in research, designing, testing, manufacturing and installation of computer hardware such as computer chips, circuit boards, computer systems and related equipments. Their work is similar to that of electronic engineers but their work is exclusively limited to computers and computer-related equipments. Computer engineers have the option of moving into hardware or software positions or blending the two. On projects, both these engineers usually work together as a team. It is these computer engineers who design software and hard ware computer-based systems for embedded micro controllers, designing - VLSI chips, analog sensors, mixed signal circuit boards and operating systems.

Who can take Computers?
Do you like computer ? (I am not talking about computer games and internet)
Do you want to do something new with a computer?
Do you always experiment with your computer and surprise others?
Are you good at mathematics and logic making skills?
Do you like puzzles?
Do you have higher level of IQ?
If your answer to most of the above questions is yes, this is the branch for you and you are made for this branch. This branch requires a good logic making skills and good aptitude, innovation and hard work. If you have all these skills in you, go for this branch.

Information Technology:
This branch requires the same skills as for computer science & engineering. There is a little bit of difference in their course content. There is not much difference as far as placement and job opportunity is concerned; both the branch are equally good and well paid.

Careers in CSE:

Computer professionals might find themselves in a variety of environments in academia, research, industry, government, private and business organizations -- analyzing problems for solutions, formulating and testing, using advanced communications or multi-media equipment, or working in teams for product development. Here's a short list providing you in computing.

1.Artificial Intelligence: Develops computers that simulate human learning and reasoning ability.

2.Computer Design and Engineering: Designing new computer circuits, microchips, and other electronic components.

3.Computer Architecture: Design new computer instruction sets, and combine electronic or optical components to provide powerful but cost-effective computing.
Information Technology: Develop and manage information systems that support a business or organization.

4.Software Engineering: Develop methods for the production of software systems on time, within budget, and with few or no defects.

5.Computer Theory: Investigate the fundamental theories of how computers solve problems, and apply the results to other areas of computer science.

6.Operating Systems and Networks: Develop the basic software computers use to supervise themselves or to communicate with other computers.

There are many Engineers of CS/IT field I knew who opt for CSE because Computers are just cool
